About

Sami is a creative director, filmmaker, photographer and community organiser based between London and (sometimes) Cornwall. Across these mediums, as well as occasional writing, Sami’s work aims to capture and create moments of appreciation for the world around us and the communities who inhabit it; hoping to evoke compassion and create oppertunities for understanding through storytelling. Passionate about the outdoors, nature, ecological regeneration and community, Sami’s projects aim to build hopeful paths for our collective futures.

In 2019 Sami co-founded collective and platform BAESIANZ alongside Sarah Khan and Roxanne Farahmand, which celebrates artists of Asian heritage from across the globe. In 2023 Baesianz Adventure Club was born; a space where the Baesianz community are invited to explore the outdoors through adventure.
